Coach x Peanuts

The largest collaboration of the year. I was tasked with the conceptualization and execution of the campaign with art director Jeehyeon Song. We concepted a 360 design package that included the overall print and digital graphic direction, photo and video art direction, and AR experience.

I proposed an AR experience which our creative department, marketing department, and store teams were all excited to implement. Shoppers can scan the QR code on the Snoopy poster to have it come to life in 3D. The camera can be flipped to switch to a photo filter. I worked with our in-house experience team to communicate what we had in mind and made sure that the end result matched what we intended.

Below is a selection of on-figure and still life images that we art directed. I researched potential photographers and and we were able to work with the wonderfully talented Daria Kobayashi Ritch. The models were all shot against a white seamless background so that we can easily cut and collage with other Peanuts assets. The still life products were shot against solid backgrounds with pedestals that were wrapped with the Peanuts comics textures that was used in the on-figure collages.

I created separate mood board for our videographer and video editor to make sure that everyone was aligned on the expectations on transition animations and the angles that we would need in order to bring to life the energy of our print assets. I worked with the videographer on set to make sure we were able to capture a variety of shots and angles that the video editor can play with.

All the assets we captured, edited, and collaged were then used across all print and digital assets. Below are some of the digital iterations.
